Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Abdul Ganiu has donated 1,400 exercise books to his former school Wa Municipal Model JHS.

Ganiu is among the few locally-based players to be involved in such donations.

The centre back came through the ranks to play for Wa All Stars and helped them win the Ghana Premier League three seasons ago.

Ganiu later got transferred to Karela FC before being snapped up by the Porcupine Warriors.
