Waasland-Beveren coach Adnan Čustović claims Genk attempted to "destabilize" Nana Ampomah during January transfer window.

The 23-year-old was a subject of intense bidding from the Belgian giants with AA Gent and Antwerp FC believed to have kept tabs on the forward.
But after failing to prize away the player,Waasland-Beveren coach Adnan Čustović says Genk were only interested in destabilizing him.
"Genk tried to destabilize Ampomah" There was never been a proposal." he said
Ampomah has been in top form this season scoring seven goals in the Belgian Jupiler League for Waasland-Beveren.
Current Genk coach Philippe Clement worked with Ampomah at Beveren and wanted to reunite with him at the Luminus Arena.
