AC Milan's summer schedule this year sees the addition of another friendly match: on Saturday 17 August at 20:30 CEST, the Rossoneri will face Cesena at the "Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi"

After our three ICC games, in the United States and the United Kingdom, and our international friendly in Kosovo against FC Feronikeli on Saturday, there's one more challenge for the Rossoneri to face. This final fixture will add vital minutes before our league campaign kicks off on 25 August away to Udinese. On Saturday, 17 August at 20:30 CEST, the Rossoneri will face Cesena, coached by Francesco Modesto, in front of the public at the "Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi". After four international matches, AC Milan finally return to the field in Italy and this will be a special occasion for so many of the Rossoneri fans in Romagna who will have the chance to witness Marco Giampaolo's side first-hand in the final pre-season friendly before the new season gets underway.
Tickets will soon be available at: www.vivaticket.it
AC Milan and Cesena have crossed paths 26 times in official matches, with a record of 15 Rossoneri wins, 6 draws and 5 wins for Cesena. Cesena's Manuzzi Stadium has been the ground of many Rossoneri greats debuts, with two standing out in particular: Ricardo Kaká and Zlatan Ibrahimović. The Brazilian made his debut on 23 August 2003 against National Bucharest at the Manuzzi, whilst the star striker from Malmö first donned the Rossoneri shirt in Cesena on 11 September 2010. Cesena was also the scene of a Milan Derby in 1993, an occasion which saw the Rossoneri lift the "G. Ghezzi" Cup. Fabio Capello's side triumphed in front of more than 26,000 fans thanks to a Zvonimir Boban free-kick goal from 25 metres out, the decisive goal in the second memorial dedicated to Giorgio Ghezzi.
