After a 2-4 pre-season loss to Leeds United, Liverpool manager Iraola spoke to the club's official media.

Andoni, ending the pre-season tour in such a disappointing way. What did you take away from the team today?
I think we learned a lot. Obviously, this might not be the result everyone wanted, but I think it might have been the most valuable friendly we've played – a very positive first half, and some issues exposed in the second half. I think we gained a lot from today's game, and can draw some useful conclusions and address some problems.
On the positive side, we saw Wirtz and Isak make their pre-season debuts, and Wirtz even scored. How would you rate their performance and integration?
I think they performed well. They played the first 45 minutes. Obviously, Wirtz and Isak came on in the first half, so their game was smoother and they performed better. Gravenberch faced a more difficult situation. I think everyone performed well, even Frimpong, who asked to be substituted. I don't think he's injured, just some muscle overload, and I hope he's okay. From that perspective, we didn't have any injury setbacks.
Completing a tour like this requires a collective effort. Overall, how satisfied are you with the performance of the behind-the-scenes staff in preparing and ensuring the successful execution of this tour?
Everyone performed exceptionally well. Ultimately, you can very clearly feel that this is a first-class club, and even overseas, we have so many supporters. We hope to be ready for the start of the new season, because by then, everyone will want to see us play exciting football and achieve ideal results.
