According to Dutch media outlet VI, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have submitted a serious and concrete offer to sign Japanese forward Ayase Ueda from Feyenoord. Feyenoord is open to the transfer and willing to negotiate the player's departure.

Transfer rumors surrounding Ayase Ueda have circulated for several weeks. Previously, Premier League side Brighton expressed interest, but the matter did not progress beyond initial talks. Leeds United's situation was similar. However, unlike these clubs, Fenerbahçe has made a genuine push to acquire the player.
According to Feyenoord sources, Fenerbahçe has submitted a formal offer for Ueda. Feyenoord plans to enter negotiations with the Turkish club. The club is considering selling Ueda to raise funds for late-stage transfer window signings this summer.
The timing is opportune for such discussions. At 27 years old, Ueda is at an ideal age for a transfer, and Feyenoord has already identified his replacement, investing 9 million euros to sign Spanish forward Nacho Ferri.
The 21-year-old Ferri previously played for Westerlo and represents a key signing under Feyenoord's new technical director, Deby Rigo.
Rigo is open to negotiations with Fenerbahçe. Given Fenerbahçe's serious approach, Rigo is eager to complete player sales this summer to generate revenue. Beyond Anis Moussa, Ueda is viewed as an important departure that can bring substantial transfer income to the club.
For Feyenoord, seriously considering Ueda's move to Turkey is therefore an acceptable option.
However, the biggest factor in this deal remains whether Ayase Ueda himself is willing to join Fenerbahçe.
The Japanese forward has long harbored dreams of playing in the Premier League, and Brighton and Leeds United previously expressed interest. Yet as noted, neither English club has made a concrete offer or pursued formal negotiations.
As a result, Ueda may choose to wait for a Premier League opportunity. Ultimately, the decision rests with the player himself.
What is certain is that Feyenoord is willing to negotiate with Fenerbahçe. However, these talks are not expected to be as contentious as negotiations surrounding Hivairo Read's transfer.
In that instance, Rigo took a firm stance with Roma, ultimately causing the Italian club to withdraw. Negotiations with Fenerbahçe are not expected to follow the same trajectory.
Feyenoord's reported asking price for Ueda is approximately 25 million euros. For Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, this figure may not present an insurmountable obstacle.
Therefore, the ultimate deciding factor remains Ayase Ueda's personal choice – whether the Eredivisie's top scorer from last season is willing to accept Fenerbahçe's offer.
Should Ueda choose to join Fenerbahçe, negotiations between the two clubs are expected to progress swiftly, with an agreement potentially reached within days.
