Max Eberl plans to extend his contract with Bayern Munich until June 30, 2029. The Supervisory Board's approval of this contract extension at Tuesday's upcoming meeting is considered a mere formality. However, the fact is that this contract extension has certain preconditions: Eberl has not been responsible for the campus base for some time; the relevant work has been handed over to Christoph Freund and Mario Sauer. Furthermore, Eberl will also part ways with chief scout Neels Schmatke.
