According to ESPN Brazil, Santos has repaid a 12 million reais debt (approximately 2 million euros) owed to Monaco with support from Neymar's family company. The debt originated from the club's sale of midfielder Jean Lucas to Monaco.

With the debt fully settled, Santos has been cleared of the FIFA transfer ban and regained eligibility to sign new players.
Santos stated in the announcement: "In return, Santos Club and NR Sports will jointly develop jersey advertising partnerships for currently unavailable commercial slots."
Jean Lucas joined Santos in 2023 for 6 million euros before being sold to Bahia the following year.
Official Statement from Santos:
"Santos Club has settled the debt related to the transfer ban and is now eligible to operate in the transfer market. This transaction was made possible through the support of NR Sports. Per the agreement between both parties, the club will receive an immediate capital injection.
In return, Santos Club and the company will jointly develop jersey advertising partnerships for currently unavailable commercial slots."
