According to Telegraph reporter John Percy, Harryson Armstrong's transfer from Everton to Nottingham Forest has now fallen through.

The report states that Everton had previously accepted Nottingham Forest's £35 million bid and allowed Armstrong to proceed with the transfer. Nottingham Forest had also received written confirmation.

However, Everton's club owner subsequently halted the deal.

It is understood that strong opposition from Everton fans to the potential sale of Armstrong was a key factor in the club's decision to withdraw from the deal.
