According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Feyenoord has decided to reject Al-Ittihad's €37.5 million offer for Anis Moussa, temporarily keeping the Algerian attacker in Rotterdam. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad has turned its attention to PSV's Bosnian international, Esmer Bajraktarević.

The report states that Al-Ittihad had been strongly pushing for Moussa's transfer this week and submitted a €37.5 million offer to Feyenoord. If the deal had gone through, it would have set a new club record transfer fee for Feyenoord. Although the offer seemed almost impossible to refuse, Feyenoord's management ultimately decided not to accept it.

Al-Ittihad hopes to sign a right winger before the Saudi transfer window closes and has now turned its attention to Bajraktarević. Sources close to the player indicate that PSV is aware of Al-Ittihad's interest, and due to having numerous players in the right-wing position, the club is open to considering selling the Bosnian international.

Currently, Bajraktarević faces competition on the right flank from Ivan Perišić, new signing Sami Väisänen, and Denis Man. Previously, Denis Man was close to joining Lazio, but the Italian club ultimately did not proceed with the transfer.

Al-Ittihad is reportedly willing to pay a considerable transfer fee for Bajraktarević. PSV signed him from New England Revolution for only €3 million a year and a half ago. Since then, he has not truly established himself as a regular starter for the team, having made 43 appearances for PSV, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.

If Moussa ultimately stays, it would mean a significant financial loss for both Feyenoord and the player himself. Al-Ittihad had already made a concrete approach for Moussa earlier in this transfer window, but at that time, Feyenoord's technical director, Toerend Rigau, rejected an offer close to €30 million.

At the time, Feyenoord was unwilling to sell two attackers in quick succession within just one week and also hoped to compete in the Champions League with a strong squad.

The report states that if Moussa had joined Al-Ittihad, he would have received a premium contract, with total earnings exceeding €50 million over five years.

If Feyenoord had accepted the €37.5 million offer, it would also have set a new club record for the highest transfer sale.
