According to an exclusive report by journalist Sam C, Barcelona winger Raphinha was not nominated for the 2026 Ballon d'Or and missed out on the 30-man shortlist.

In the 2025 Ballon d'Or awards, Raphinha ranked fifth, behind Vinícius Júnior, Rodri, Yannick Carrasco, and Erling Haaland.
