In the first match of the Champions League group stage, SK Slovan Bratislava lost 1-6 to Paris Saint-Germain. After the match, SK Slovan Bratislava coach Y. Touré gave an interview to the club's official website.

Y. Touré: "A difficult match, from which we can learn a lot and take away many things to improve. Immediately after the match, I felt that my players had given their best. However, the opponent's strength is immense. Paris Saint-Germain respected us and played with 100% commitment, with the excellent Dembélé up front. Today we can take away positive aspects; we see that there is still a long way to go, and we must work harder. This is the quality of the Champions League—these are important matches, and if we want to get close to this level, we need to improve in many aspects. Since we are a young team, we certainly have room for improvement. Currently, only a few teams in the world can match Paris Saint-Germain, and I believe Paris Saint-Germain's goal will be to win the Champions League three times in a row. We did our best, and it's hard to conduct a detailed analysis right after the final whistle.
We scored a goal, and Souleymane Camara played a wonderful game. It wasn't easy for him, participating in this competition for the first time while facing Mendes, who in my opinion is one of the best full-backs in the world right now. Similarly, Dominik Takáč faced many shots and did his best. As for Kenan Bajić, he felt some discomfort in his right foot, and we will know more after tomorrow's medical examination."
