According to Sky Sports reporter Matteo Barzaghi, Internazionale plans to meet with or at least contact Calhanoglu's agent to discuss the possibility of extending their cooperation. Calhanoglu's contract expires in June 2027.

After Piero Esposito completed his contract renewal, Internazionale continues to plan for the team's future. In addition to Calhanoglu, the contract situations of Dimarco and Carlos Augusto are also more pressing.
