According to Metro, former Chelsea captain John Terry believes Estevão will soon become a regular starter under Alonso at Chelsea.

So far this season, Estevão has made 3 Premier League appearances, all coming off the bench. When Chelsea drew 2-2 with Hull City, Alonso brought him on late in the match.

Pedro Neto is currently Chelsea's first-choice right-winger, but Terry believes Estevão will soon break into the starting lineup. Terry said on his YouTube channel: "Estevão played for 5 minutes, but he probably could have come on earlier."

Terry added: "Estevão looks good and sharp. He looks stronger. When I saw him in the gym the other day, he looked like he was growing and getting stronger. He certainly needs game time, but as things stand, he's a great option to bring on as a substitute for 10 to 15 minutes."

Terry continued: "I really like him. He's exciting, physically strong, and has huge potential. When you watch him play, you'll see he's very strong, very fast, and for someone not that tall, he's also very aggressive. I'm really looking forward to seeing his career at Chelsea develop. I think he's got a bright future."

"He'll need more game time soon, and I think he'll get it. As the season progresses, rotation will be important. But I think he's the kind of player who, once he gets into the team, will firmly hold his spot and be hard to displace from the starting lineup—he's that good. He's a great kid, loves Chelsea, and I think he'll become a top star."
