Nana Amponsah registered his seventh league goal of the season by opening the scoring in Waasland-Beveren’s 2-2 draw at Charleroi on Saturday in the Belgian top-flight.

The 22-year-old collected a pass from Franko Andrijasevic to fire home on 15 minutes.

Five minutes later, he provided the assist for Floriano Vanzo to double their lead.

But Waasland-Beveren could not hold onto the lead and allowed Charleroi to pull one back in the 24th minute through Massimo Bruno.

The home team snatched the leveler just before the hour mark through Victor Osimhen.

The result leaves Waasland-Beveren second-bottom on the table.
