Napoli have set their sights on a new defensive target. According to French media reports, the Serie A club is interested in signing 20-year-old French defender Meupiyou from Avranches.

Meupiyou joined Avranches from Wolves last summer and has attracted attention from several top European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and multiple Ligue 1 sides. Last season, he made 32 appearances for Avranches, playing a key role in securing the team's league status. Meupiyou is also among the candidates for the Golden Boy award.

When discussing his future in an interview with GFFN, Meupiyou stated: "Like any player, I want to compete in the best competitions and play in the world's best leagues. I simply want to keep developing and continue progressing, and perhaps one day play in the biggest competitions and leagues." His asking price is approximately €15 million.
