According to British media BBC, Wales manager Craig -Bellamy is in advanced talks with Championship club Burnley and is expected to become the club's new head coach next season.

Burnley has approached the Football Association of Wales, seeking to appoint Bellamy to replace Scott -Parker, and the 46-year-old is currently in contract negotiations with the Championship club.

Although a final agreement has not yet been reached, negotiations have progressed rapidly and made significant progress over the past 48 hours.

Bellamy had previously wanted to remain as Wales manager and lead the team to the 2028 European Championship, but he is now seriously considering the Burnley opportunity.

The former Manchester City, Liverpool, and West Ham winger was appointed Wales manager in 2024. However, Wales failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after losing to Bosnia and Herzegovina on penalties in a qualifying play-off in Cardiff.

If appointed, it will be Bellamy's second spell at Burnley. He previously served as assistant coach under Vincent Kompany and later became interim head coach following Kompany's departure to Bayern Munich, before joining the Wales national team.
