According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Internazionale are still pursuing Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones. The verbal agreement previously reached between the two parties remains valid, but Liverpool's asking price of approximately €40 million is still hindering the deal.

Before making an official bid, Internazionale still needs to complete several departures. Following Ebenezer Akinsanmiro's move to Monza, Inter's management is continuing to clear space in midfield, with the future of Massolin and especially Davide Frattesi seen as crucial. Only after these players leave will Inter seriously pursue Jones' transfer again, while also hoping Liverpool will lower their asking price due to the midfielder's contract expiring in 2027.
As for Jones himself, he has expressed his desire to wear an Inter jersey. In the past few hours, the player liked a social media post announcing Stones' arrival and also rejected interest from Nottingham Forest. Combined with his on-field dispute with teammate Szoboszlai in the last friendly match, Jones' desire to leave is quite evident.
