Badiashile appears set to leave Chelsea for Serie A, though his final destination remains uncertain. Napoli have accelerated negotiations in recent days and are close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea for a loan with an option to buy. The 25-year-old French defender made only 8 Premier League appearances for the Blues last season and has already spoken with Napoli manager Antonio Conte. Juventus, however, remain contenders and are hoping to secure the player ahead of their rivals. Napoli hold a slight edge, but no deal has been officially confirmed yet.
