Former Premier League star Kevin Nolan believes that if Klopp were still coaching at Anfield, Liverpool would have already seen Bowen as Salah's successor.

On talkSPORT, Nolan discussed whether Liverpool needed to sign a replacement for Salah, stating: "Of course, they do. I'm surprised Bowen hasn't been linked with Liverpool. I know that when Klopp was there, he really, really liked Bowen, and Bowen was always on the priority list."

"If Klopp were still there, I think he'd probably be a Liverpool player by now."
