Agbonlahor believes that if Liverpool wants to maximize the attacking potential of new signing Isak, then re-signing Alexander-Arnold might be the best option.

Speaking on Drive, Agbonlahor stated that with the change in Liverpool's frontline structure, the team now needs a right-sided creator like Alexander-Arnold more than ever before.
"The craziest thing is that Liverpool now actually needs Trent more than before," Agbonlahor said. "In the past, Mané, Salah, and Firmino would constantly enter the box, but now the situation is different. The team has a true number 9, an attacking pivot, and Salah has left."
Liverpool signed Dutch right-back Frimpong last year, attempting to fill the void left by Alexander-Arnold's departure. However, Agbonlahor believes that Frimpong's technical characteristics are not suitable for the current Liverpool.
"Isak is the key man. What does he need? High-quality crosses. But he won't get those from Frimpong," Agbonlahor stated. "Frimpong is a wing-back, he's very fast and can dribble past players, but his defensive ability is problematic. I've seen his one-on-one defending, and he struggles to contain opponents. And his final pass is also very poor."
"So Isak might also think, 'I need someone on the right who can deliver better passes.'"
