According to Marca, Mastantono has agreed to join Fiorentina.

Reports indicate that Real Madrid trained again at the Valdebebas base this morning, and Mastantono was still absent from group training. As yesterday, the young Argentine did not train with his teammates but stayed in the gym for individual physical training.
Mastantono currently has no injuries; the only reason for his absence from group training is that he is waiting for the loan deal to Fiorentina to be officially completed.
The Argentine starlet has already agreed to join the Viola, and the two clubs are currently finalizing the last details of the loan agreement, which is close to completion.
As Marca first revealed a week ago, Fiorentina was the first club to contact Real Madrid and expressed their desire to loan the player before other Serie A teams. Now, their proactive approach is about to pay off.
This Tuesday, after the player agreed to join Fiorentina, the two clubs met again. Mastantono spoke with Fiorentina coach Fabio Grosso and sporting director Fabio Paratici and was satisfied with the development prospects the team outlined for him.
What Fiorentina can offer is precisely what Real Madrid cannot guarantee in the short term—more playing time, more consistent match opportunities, and a key role, allowing him to fully showcase his talent on the European stage.
In fact, signs of Mastantono's impending departure had already appeared in Valdebebas. Previously, he was not included in Real Madrid's squad for the pre-season friendly in Austria, where the opponent happened to be Fiorentina. In the past two days, he has also not participated in team training, instead training alone in the gym, awaiting the finalization of the loan deal.
Currently, only one remaining issue needs to be resolved—how the two clubs will share the player's salary. Once this detail is agreed upon, the deal is expected to be officially completed in the coming days.
Subsequently, Mastantono will travel to Italy to start a new chapter. This loan will help him escape the pressure of the Bernabéu, allowing him to continue growing and fulfilling his potential in a more stable competitive environment after his first demanding season since joining Real Madrid.
Mastantono understood at the start of pre-season that it would be difficult for him to remain under Mourinho. Although the coach was very pleased with his performance and talent, both the coaching staff and the club believed that it would be difficult for him to secure a starting position in the short term, and thus preferred him to gain consistent playing time at another team.
In addition to Mastantono, Raúl Asensio, Huijsen, F. Mendy, Militão, and Rodrygo were also absent from this training session, as they are still recovering according to their respective rehabilitation plans. Among them, Asensio and Huijsen both suffered muscle injuries during this pre-season preparation.
