According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on August 7, Barcelona center-back Luis Araujo has completed his loan move to Liverpool, which includes an optional purchase clause.

Liverpool will cover 100% of Araujo's wages until next June, with all documentation between the clubs now finalized.

Araujo will travel to Merseyside on Sunday to complete the formalities. The loan agreement includes an optional purchase clause, allowing Liverpool to make the deal permanent at a later date.

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola and the club's management view Araujo as an important addition to strengthen their defense, with plans to deploy him as a center-back and potentially at right-back in the future.
