According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Lukaku is close to joining Fenerbahçe. The Belgian striker has opened the door to the Istanbul club, and the two parties have already agreed on a contract with a net annual salary of €10 million.

Now, Big Rom is waiting for Napoli and the Turkish club to finalize an agreement. Napoli has set a price of €12 million for the player, requiring payment in a maximum of two installments, while Fenerbahçe is currently only willing to offer between €7 million and €8 million. The two parties must finalize the transfer fee soon, as Lukaku is increasingly close to moving to the Turkish Süper Lig and leaving Serie A.
His transfer from Chelsea to Napoli
In the summer of 2024, Napoli signed Lukaku from Chelsea for €30 million at the explicit request of Antonio Conte. However, Chelsea retained a 40% sell-on clause, and to avoid a loss on the transfer, Napoli president De Laurentiis's team is currently unwilling to go below €12 million.
Lukaku's contrasting record at Napoli
Romelu Lukaku scored 15 goals in 45 appearances during his two seasons wearing the Napoli jersey. He made a significant contribution to Napoli's Serie A title win last season, but barely played under coach Conte in the most recent campaign. After an injury in August 2024, Lukaku spent time recovering before returning to play for Belgium. In the 2025/26 season, he appeared in only 5 Serie A matches for Napoli.
