After reporting for duty, Real Madrid's new signing Cucurella was interviewed by the club's TV channel.

In the video, Cucurella said: "I'm very happy, I've waited a long time, the process was a bit lengthy, but I'm finally here. Today I trained with my teammates, met everyone, and I'm very much looking forward to getting to know everyone gradually, deepening our understanding of each other, and I hope this will be a great season.

I feel incredibly proud. I don't think many people can say they've worn this jersey. We've witnessed the birth of many great legends. This is a club with a rich history, and the greatest club in Europe. To be here today is a privilege, an honor for me, and the best reward for all the hard work I've put in throughout my career.
