According to Bild, Real Sociedad and Real Betis are both interested in Silva. It is understood that the forward has made it clear he does not want to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Instead, Silva hopes to make an impact in his second season at Dortmund, increase his importance, and play in the Champions League with the Black and Yellows. His contract at Dortmund does not expire until 2030.
Silva strives for a more important position at Dortmund
However, Silva's starting position is not a given. In his first season, the Portuguese made 39 appearances for Dortmund, contributing 3 goals and 7 assists. Dortmund signed him from Wolves for 22.5 million euros last summer, so expectations for him are naturally high.
Silva performed actively in pre-season preparations, but has not yet been fully convincing in attack, especially lacking luck in front of goal on several occasions. However, in the match against FC Tokyo, he helped the team win 1-0 with a wonderful turn and shot; in the 3-2 victory over Arsenal, he also participated in the attack for the team's first goal.
Silva is no stranger to Spain
It is not entirely surprising that two La Liga clubs are interested in him at the same time. Silva is very familiar with Spanish football – in the 2024/25 season, he was on loan at Las Palmas, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists in 24 league games, which was his most successful season in a top European league to date.
Silva considered leaving Dortmund last season, but his attitude has clearly changed now. The 24-year-old wants to embrace the competition at Borussia Dortmund.
However, the interest from Real Sociedad and Real Betis could keep the situation in suspense until the transfer window closes. For Silva, the decisive factor may be what kind of sporting role he can obtain at Borussia Dortmund.
