According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Internazionale is currently the most valuable club in Italy, ranking 12th in Europe; however, Milan has become the fastest-growing football brand globally in the past five years, with an increase of 236%.

While waiting to face each other on the field and compete for the Serie A title, both Internazionale and Milan have surpassed Juventus commercially. During Cristiano Ronaldo's tenure, specifically in 2020, Juventus's brand value was equivalent to the combined value of the two Milan clubs: €676 million, compared to the Nerazzurri's €466 million and the Rossoneri's €215 million. Today, Internazionale has won two Serie A titles and reached two Champions League finals in the past four years, with its brand value rising to €585 million, making it first in Italy and 12th in Europe. Juventus has slipped to 16th place with a valuation of €419 million, while Milan has seen a truly astonishing increase, reaching €514 million, a 28% growth from last season. In contrast, Internazionale grew by 22%, and Juventus declined by 17%.

Although the team's performance has not yet reached the expected standards for such a powerhouse—Milan last won the Serie A title in 2022 and has missed out on the Champions League for two consecutive seasons, all of which have had an impact—Milan is still the fastest-growing football club in brand value globally between 2021 and 2026, with an increase of 236%, ahead of Aston Villa, Porto, Bayer Leverkusen, and Arsenal. With a 28% growth compared to the previous year, the Rossoneri also rank among the top ten fastest-growing football clubs globally. Additionally, Milan has surpassed the €500 million brand value mark for the first time. Under Cardinale's leadership, the club returned to profitability in the 2022-23 season after 17 years of losses, a feat it has maintained for three consecutive seasons. After the disappointment of last May, fans are now more eager for the team to perform on the field. However, from a financial perspective, Milan has delivered an impressive report card.
