Welbeck has a strong record scoring against Chelsea during his time at Brighton & Hove Albion. Fortunately for the Blues, he will be wearing their shirt when the two teams meet at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Before joining Chelsea this summer, Welbeck spent six years with Brighton & Hove Albion and proved to be a thorn in the Blues' side. He scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 9 Premier League matches against Chelsea, with their last meeting in April.
Welbeck showcased his finishing ability in a Chelsea shirt for the first time on Thursday. The 35-year-old striker made his debut in the League Cup second round against Luton Town, opening the scoring with an excellent header.
Whether Welbeck will feature in tomorrow's West London derby will be decided by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca. The manager is well aware of the striker's credentials and is pleased that Welbeck will be on Chelsea's side this time.
Maresca said at the pre-match press conference: "I know his record in this fixture, and I'm very happy that he's one of ours now!"
He added: "He has many strengths. You can see how intelligent he is as a player, and he's excellent at linking up play. Outside the box, he participates intelligently in combinations; inside the box, he always positions himself smartly. We saw that against Luton.
"In training, he has a tremendous influence on the other players. He trains hard and constantly raises the standard. We believe that's very important."
"They certainly help, but not just those two. The same applies to Reece James, Lacroix, and Morgan. Despite their younger years, they still make a strong impact.
"It was a very important decision in our squad planning — to bring in players who not only perform on the pitch but are also ready to compete immediately and can have an impact quickly. We're very satisfied with that."
