Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has reportedly been caught speeding by a motorway camera, according to The Sun.

The £25m, 28-year-old Spanish goalkeeper was clocked driving at 47mph in a 40mph zone on the M23 near Crawley, Surrey. He was convicted of speeding and received three penalty points on his licence.

The player, who reportedly earns £60,000 a week, was fined £1,520 for the offence, which occurred in October.

Crawley Magistrates’ Court heard the case in April, but the public records were only recently revealed by The Sun.
