According to an exclusive report from Sky Germany journalist Patrick Berger, Everton has officially submitted a bid to sign Stuttgart winger Jamie Leweling.

The formal offer, submitted to Stuttgart yesterday, totals €43 million, comprising a fixed transfer fee of €35 million with the remainder structured as performance-based add-ons.

However, the 25-year-old Leweling has rejected all advances, choosing to remain at Stuttgart.

Had the deal gone through, Leweling would have become Stuttgart's second-most expensive sale, behind only Nick Woltemade.

Leweling trained with the squad as usual today and currently has no plans to leave before the transfer deadline.
