Trabzonspor have parted ways with head coach Fatih Tekke after their poor start to the season.

The Turkish Super Lig club invested massively to bring in Mohamed Salah as a free agent this summer.

However, they lost 5-0 on aggregate to Ferencvaros in their Europa League qualifier, and then followed that up with a 2-1 defeat to Amed on Monday.

Salah scored in that game, having netted twice against Istanbul Basaksehir in a 2-1 victory earlier in August.

But Salah will now be working under a new coach, with Tekke having been dismissed.

Huseyin Cimsir will take charge of Trabzonspor on an interim basis.
