Bischof: Bayern Munich's training intensity is remarkable, everyone is incredibly strong

During this event, he shared insights about his football idols, career goals, life at Bayern Munich, and his relationships with teammates. This article is the fourth part of an exclusive interview.

How do you deal with constant media attention? For example, if you have a poor match, how do you refocus for the next one?

If a match doesn't go well, I try to put it behind me at the start of the following week and then fully focus on that week's training. That way, I can regain good form for the next match.

Analyzing match footage also helps me a lot. I can see the mistakes I made and what I did well. If things really go badly, my family will definitely help me through it.

Good. What's the most embarrassing moment in your football career?

Fortunately, that story later got told in a different version (laughs). It was when I held the championship shield upside down.

Afterward, people said I was trying to copy Luis Díaz, because he also held the shield upside down the day before. But actually, it was just a misunderstanding. Lenny (Carl) handed me the shield already flipped upside down, and I didn't notice, so I ended up holding it that way. But in the end, it was quite funny. To be honest, I wasn't too bothered at the time because I was just enjoying the feeling of holding the championship shield.

What's your favorite and least favorite training exercise?

I really enjoy small-sided football games, like 4v4. The goals are close together, so there are lots of shots and goals. I also really enjoy our 11v11 squad training because the level is truly remarkable.

I feel like I've never experienced this level before. Everyone's ability is really strong, and through this training, you can improve every single day.

And your least favorite?

Running after matches, or sometimes running before training (laughs). Basically, anything that doesn't involve the ball counts.

My second question is: what's been your best moment at Bayern Munich so far?

Definitely the titles we've won. Two... or three, four? Does the Super Cup count?

Yes, of course it counts.

And of course, the moment I signed my contract, because that meant I could play for Bayern Munich, and it meant the transfer was finally complete. Plus, my two goals against Freiburg.

My last question is: what's a typical match day like for you? For example, what time do you wake up, what do you eat, and what do you do after the match?

Are you asking about an evening match or an afternoon match? Which would you prefer to hear about?

Let's go with the afternoon.

(Laughs) It would be more interesting if you said evening. For an afternoon match, I usually wake up around 8:30 a.m., then have breakfast. We meet up around 11 a.m. After that, we watch video analysis to see how the opponent plays and how we should prepare for the match.

Then it's basically time to prepare for the match. And after that, as I mentioned before, I listen to my music.

After the match, my family is usually there. Sometimes a few friends from my hometown come to watch. If tomorrow is a day off, we might go out for dinner together, or take a walk around the city.

Or we might go home together. I have a big sofa at home that can fit a lot of people, so we watch a film together at home as well. Actually, this time after the match is usually the best because the whole family can be together.
