According to Bild, RB Leipzig midfielder Ouedraogo dislocated his right shoulder during the match against Hamburg, and the team doctor reset it on the field.

In the 28th minute, Ouedraogo collided with Hamburg player Glunbeck and suddenly cried out in pain. The team doctor immediately arrived and reset his right shoulder. Ouedraogo screamed in pain during the resetting process.
After his shoulder was reset, Ouedraogo was substituted, with Nkunku coming on as a replacement. Ouedraogo had previously played for Germany in November 2024 against Slovakia.
This match was particularly unfortunate for Ouedraogo, as it was his first start for RB Leipzig. In early August, he suffered a right shoulder capsule injury in training, which did not require surgery at the time but caused him to miss the start of the season. On Thursday, he had just returned in the Champions League match against Como, playing 30 minutes.
Now Ouedraogo has suffered another injury. Since his transfer from Schalke to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2024, he has missed 63 matches over the past two years due to injuries to his knees, thighs, and shoulders.
It is currently unclear how long the German international will be sidelined. Due to Lennart-Karl's absence, Ouedraogo was called up to Germany's World Cup squad, but he may still miss several weeks.
