Former Tottenham striker Mido is serenaded by fans on the tube after watching his old side beat Chelsea at Wembley.

The 35-year-old took the underground train after seeing Spurs beat the Blues 3-1 and was spotted by fans of his old club.

The former Egyptian striker posted a video on Twitter of Spurs fans chanting: 'We love you Mido, we do. We love you Mido, we do. We love you Mido, we do. Oh Mido, we love you.'

The ex-Middlesbrough forward captioned the video: 'Spurs fans at the tube after the game hahahahaha'.

The Tottenham supporters looked like they were enjoying the ride home and their spirits lifted even further after they noticed Mido was alongside them.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane scored as the hosts raced into a 2-0 lead on Saturday.

Heung-min Son then found the back of the net early in the second half after a mazy, solo run from the South Korea international.

Olivier Giroud headed in a consolation goal from a Cesar Azpilicueta cross with five minutes to go, as Maurizio Sarri's unbeaten run came to an end.

Mido moved to White Hart Lane on an 18-month loan in 2005 before joining permanently for the 2006/07 season.

The former Spurs striker will be hoping his former club can produce a similar performance in an important week for the north London club.

Mauricio Pochettino's side face Inter Milan in midweek to keep their Champions League hopes alive and face bitter rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
