Barnsley have made a £650,000 offer for Zwolle left back Kenneth Paal.

The Championship club are still to appoint their new head coach following Valerien Israel’s decision to leave for West Brom last week - but have made Paal a primary target.
The Tykes have submitted their first offer for the 23-year-old and are hopeful of completing a deal for the Dutchman.
The former PSV Eindhoven defender, who made 13 appearances for Holland Under-17s, received rave reviews for his performances in the Eredivisie last season and has attracted interest from a host of clubs.
Barnsley are understood to be just one of a number of Championship clubs that want to sign Paal ahead of next season.
The left-sided player’s contract expires at the end of next season meaning Zwolle are ready to listen to offers for Paal to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
