Allesandro Diamanti is determined to returned to the pitch despite being without a team since last August.

The striker born in ‘83 could join Perugia, he previously met with the club’s president Santopadre for the initial discussion a few days ago, and they recently had a follow up conversation on a contract until the end of the season.

The negotiations are gaining momentum as the financial aspect doesn’t appear to be a priority for Diamanti since he could just head to Dubai or MLS.

Diamanti could be returning to the pitch in Italy before the season ends.
