According to the latest report from Samuel Luckhurst, Manchester United reporter for The Sun, Lisandro Martinez and Sesko are both expected to be fit for Manchester United's first match of the new season.

Reportedly, Lisandro Martinez sustained a thigh injury in the World Cup final, but the injury is not serious. With a five-week gap between the World Cup final and Manchester United's first Premier League away game against Hull City, the club's medical team is confident that Lisandro Martinez will be able to recover in time.

Due to his relatively late return and Manchester United's ample central defensive options, Lisandro Martinez may gradually ease back into action. In the first three pre-season friendlies, Carrick opted for a right-footed and left-footed center-back pairing: Maguire alongside Aiden Heaven, while Yoro was redeployed as a right-back.

Sesko missed all three friendlies, but his recovery from a shin injury is progressing well. He started outdoor training last week and is scheduled to join full team training this week. De Ligt's recovery after back surgery is also steadily progressing, but he will miss the start of the season, having been out since November last year and undergoing back surgery in May.

Darlow underwent surgery in June, and Manchester United initially expected him to miss the first half of pre-season preparations, but he has not yet participated in training. Manchester United will play Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on Saturday, after which the team will travel directly to Dublin for a six-day training camp, where the full first-team squad will assemble.
