According to Footmercato, Cancelo's return to Barcelona is close to being finalized, with his return expected this week.

The agreement between Cancelo and Barcelona was reached several days ago, but negotiations with Al Hilal, with whom his contract does not expire until 2027, slowed down the process.

Al Hilal finally gave the green light, and Barcelona is expected to invest around 8 million euros to re-sign the Portuguese international. According to AS, Cancelo will sign a two-year contract.
