According to Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf, Japanese midfielder Koki Sano is close to completing his transfer from NEC Nijmegen to PSV Eindhoven, with the player set to officially join after passing his medical examination.

According to sources within NEC, Koki Sano left the team's hotel in Greece and headed to the airport to return to the Netherlands just hours before the team's Champions League qualifier against Olympiacos.
The report states that Koki Sano will travel to Eindhoven on Wednesday for his medical, and PSV has prepared a 5-year contract for him. The two clubs have already reached an agreement on the transfer, with PSV paying a fixed transfer fee of approximately 15 million euros, plus bonus clauses of up to 2 million euros.
The 22-year-old Koki Sano performed outstandingly for NEC last season, gradually becoming a key midfielder for the team and attracting attention from several European clubs. Now, he is only awaiting a medical examination and other final procedures before joining Eredivisie giants PSV.
