Napoli contact Arsenal for Martinelli transfer, player has rejected Galatasaray offer, no intention of going to Turkey.

Arsenal remain open to offers, provided the deal helps the team strengthen the left side of Arteta's offensive system. Martinelli's contract situation means a sufficiently serious offer could force Arsenal to make a decision.
According to sources close to agents' circles who spoke to CaughtOffside, Napoli have sounded out Arsenal about Martinelli, with the source saying "discussions are ongoing" between the two clubs regarding the Brazilian winger's transfer.
Napoli are not the only buyers. According to Football Italia, Roma are also considering Martinelli, after their pursuit of Porto's rising star Rodrigo Mora stalled due to a potential mandatory purchase clause.
The same report confirms that Martinelli recently rejected a €45 million offer from Galatasaray, and notes that his Arsenal contract expires next summer, although the Gunners retain an option to extend for one year. Roma's interest therefore offers Martinelli another realistic Serie A destination, provided Arsenal eventually approves his departure.
Martinelli's rejection of Galatasaray indicates that his next destination will be determined by sporting ambition rather than money. This makes Napoli particularly attractive – they can offer a significant role and European competition opportunities in Serie A, and Martinelli's speed and ability to attack space are also a good fit for the Serie A style.
From Arsenal's perspective, there is no rush to deal with it.
