AFC Bournemouth officially announced the loan signing of Di Gregorio from Juventus on August 25.

The club is delighted to announce the season-long loan signing of Di Gregorio from Juventus. Having established himself in Serie A, he brings extensive Serie A and Champions League experience to the south coast.

Di Gregorio began his career at Inter before loan spells at Renate, Novara, and Pordenone, where he gained valuable first-team experience. He then enjoyed a breakthrough spell at Monza, helping the team win promotion to Serie A for the first time in their history.

Di Gregorio made 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2023-24 season, keeping 14 clean sheets and being named Serie A’s best goalkeeper. He joined Juventus in the summer of 2024 and has since featured in various domestic and European competitions, adding Champions League experience to his résumé.

In an interview with the club's official channel, he said: "I am very happy to be here. This is a very important moment for me, and I believe that joining AFC Bournemouth is the right decision."

Di Gregorio will wear the number 20 shirt and join his new teammates before the club's first Premier League home match of the season this weekend.

According to Juventus's official announcement, the loan fee is €1.3 million, with an additional €800,000 payable if certain sporting targets are met during the loan period.

The agreement also includes an option to buy the player for €12.7 million, payable over 3 years. If the player meets the corresponding sporting targets during the loan period, the buyout fee can be increased by up to €1.5 million.
