He plays very calmly and doesn't look like an 18-year-old player at all. His mentality is quite mature, which is very valuable. However, even so, we need to take things step by step.

He has just transferred from another country and needs time to adapt. We are not in a hurry to rush things. He will help the team now and in the future, but it must be said that it is rare to have such a mature mindset at only 18 years old.

He joined for a high transfer fee, which is also the club's highest historical transfer investment for an 18-year-old player. Do you think he can withstand the pressure and expectations placed on him by the outside world?

I think he can. Again, his demeanor is not at all like an 18-year-old, and this is crucial. At the same time, my responsibility and the club's responsibility is to protect him as much as possible and not put extra pressure on him. We know he is still young, and we just need to give him some time to grow.

Cherki had a brilliant and effective performance after coming on as a substitute last Sunday. He also frequently played as a substitute last season. How do you see his role in the team this season?

He did indeed make an impact after coming on. In terms of individual ability, he is a very special member of the team. When our attack is stalled, especially in the crucial final third in front of the opponent's penalty area, he can provide the high-quality performance we desperately need.

Whether to use him largely depends on our game plan against the opponent. Undoubtedly, he can contribute to the team now and in the future. He is still very young, around 22-23 years old, and I am very happy with his current training state.

This team is generally young. Do you think there are enough experienced veterans and leaders in the locker room?

We have experienced players and leaders in the team, but the transfer window closes in four or five days. We will see if we can bring in one or two more players who can become captain candidates. Currently, Ruben and Haaland are the team's captain and vice-captain. Although the squad is young, we do not lack experienced players.

Are you close to signing any new players between now and the deadline?

No, currently the only new player signed is Bouadi. We will wait and see what happens in the remaining four or five days.

How important is it to sign at least one experienced midfielder before the transfer window closes?

Recruitment is not just about experience. I have said many times that age has never been my criterion for selecting players. Whether a player can play only depends on their own ability. As everyone knows, the team I coached before created the youngest squad in Premier League history. Our current team is indeed young, but the players in the squad already have the necessary big-game experience.

Have you decided how many players you still want to sign this summer?

Anything is possible in the transfer window. There are still four or five days until the deadline, probably until Tuesday or Wednesday. We will see how things progress. It's difficult for me to be distracted by transfer market matters right now. In 24 hours, we have a match, and my full attention at this stage is on preparing for tomorrow's game; that is the top priority.

I'd like to ask about Marmoush. Last week you said he hadn't expressed a desire to leave, but now there are many rumors that he is about to join Tottenham Hotspur. Has he told you he wants to leave yet?

He hasn't officially informed me yet, but it's highly likely, it's just that the transfer procedures haven't been fully completed. N. González, Savio, and Reijnders have already left the team, and Marmoush is very likely to be the next one.

You mentioned over the weekend that Guehi could be an option for the midfield position. Will he continue to play in midfield tomorrow against his former club?

Yes, he has recovered 100%. He just had cramps last week when he came off.
