The criticism Isak has received since returning to St. James' Park, coupled with the pressure of a new manager, is absurd.

Even more outrageous is that some fans are unhappy with him for allowing the designated penalty taker to take a penalty in the 99th minute—which the player scored.

So I'm willing to stake my judgment: this Swedish striker will score more goals this season than Wissa and Isak combined, and I'm putting £2,000 on it for charity.

It's foolish to write off Isak as a flop given the emotion of the opening game, including the tribute to Kevin Keegan, especially considering Newcastle's attacking setup this season.

If Newcastle could sign Barcola and Ismaïla Sarr from Crystal Palace—a former teammate of mine—it would significantly change things and greatly benefit Isak.

That way, Isak would have pace wingers on both flanks who are willing to make off-the-ball runs and track back, creating spaces that weren't there before.

Barcola and Sarr's greatest strength is one-on-one dribbling, and their profiles are completely different from Gakpo and Salah, which could benefit Isak.

If Barcola really joins, I think Gakpo will be allowed to move to Tottenham, which would be part of a busy final stretch of the transfer window.
