Fabrizio Romano reported that Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Racing Santander to sign 19-year-old midfielder Sergio Martínez.

Sergio Martínez will join Real Madrid immediately without a loan period at Racing Santander. Both parties have signed a contract valid until 2030, with a transfer fee of €3 million.

The player previously rejected invitations from English, German, and Saudi clubs, choosing to join Real Madrid.
