Barcola is reportedly close to completing his move to Liverpool, where he will wear the number 29 shirt. According to reports, this number holds special significance in the "FIFA" video game series, now known as "EA FC," where it belongs to fictional character Alex Hunter in the "Journey" storyline.

Barcola previously explained: “I used to play FIFA a lot as a kid, and Alex Hunter’s story mode, along with this number, became very meaningful to me. I told myself then: ‘When I become a professional player, I’ll wear number 29.’ Now I’m doing it, and I’ll never give it up.”
