According to talkSPORT, Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman is in talks to acquire a stake in Norwich City. Jackman has been a fan of the "Canaries" since childhood, as his mother was born in England and Norwich is her hometown.

The actor, famous for playing Wolverine, has a close friendship with Ryan Reynolds. It is well known that Reynolds co-owns Championship rivals Wrexham with actor Rob McElhenney.
When asked if he would also join the wave of Hollywood capital entering English football, Jackman told talkSPORT: "I am very, very interested, and we are discussing it right now.
You are the first media to know about this—a little exclusive.
Ryan has done a great job, but I have my own goals, and my heart belongs to Norwich."
Jackman did not disclose how much of a stake he plans to acquire in Norwich.
As far back as 2010, he was invited to become a minority shareholder in the club, but he declined at the time.
The Australian actor recalled in a 2011 interview: "There are times when I make big mistakes.
About a year ago, I received a letter asking if, as an avid Norwich fan, I would be willing to be a celebrity investor and become a minority shareholder.
I replied at the time: 'I don't think it's appropriate. I've only been to Carrow Road once with my mum,' so I refused to invest.
But after that, the team had a good run, which shows my judgment wasn't very good."
Norwich have lost three of their first four games this season and are currently 20th in the Championship.
