According to Di Marzio, 21-year-old Dutch fan Niels flew to Madrid solely to watch his idol Dumfries live.

A flight to Madrid, an orange jersey with Dumfries's name on the back. The destination? Not hard to guess. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan. A carry-on suitcase and a travel bag on his shoulder. Niels had just arrived in Spain more than 24 hours before the match. He stated: "I am Dutch, Dumfries is one of my favorite players. I came for him."

In terms of football, Niels is from North Brabant. He supports Manchester United and his hometown club Willem II: "Some important players have come from there, including Alexander Isak, Virgil van Dijk, Frenkie de Jong, and Mats Wiegers. Now there's also Obi, on loan from Manchester United."

The journey began on the morning of September 7. Niels flew to Madrid with a layover in Seville. He said: "It's not a short trip, but it's worth it for such an exciting match." This will be his first time watching a match live at the Bernabéu.

Speaking of Dumfries, Niels said: "It will be exciting to see Dumfries play against his old club again. He has become an international-class player at Inter Milan. I still remember his excellent performance in the Champions League. He played incredibly against Barcelona."

Niels also said: "This is a new challenge that Dumfries deserves. The match will be tight. It's a shame not to see Arda Güler, but there are still stars like Lautaro, Marcus Thuram, and Çalhanoğlu on the field." Regarding the match result, he predicted Real Madrid would win 2-1, with goals from Mbappé, Bellingham, and Lautaro.
