According to Diario Sport, Barcelona has completed payments on transfer fees for Olmo, Raphinha, Koundé, Lewandowski, and Roque, though outstanding payments for Gordon still amount to nearly 69 million euros.

According to financial data as of June 30, 2026, Barcelona's accumulated transfer debts from previous transfer windows totaled 167.4 million euros. Of this, short-term debt was 115.8 million euros, and long-term debt was 51.6 million euros.

Barcelona has since fully settled the outstanding balances for five major signings, significantly reducing its historical debt. These players include Olmo, Raphinha, Koundé, Lewandowski, and Roque.

As of June 30, the total outstanding debt for these five players exceeded 84 million euros, with the following breakdown: Olmo 34.4 million euros, Raphinha 19 million euros, Koundé 12.3 million euros, Lewandowski 11.1 million euros, and Roque 7.3 million euros. All these outstanding debts have now been cleared, eliminating most of the club's historical transfer liabilities.

Among all outstanding debts as of June 30, Gordon's transfer debt represented the largest proportion and remains Barcelona's most significant historical transfer liability. Barcelona owes Newcastle United a total of 68.9 million euros, comprising 21.9 million euros in short-term debt and 46.9 million euros in long-term debt.

Barcelona subsequently reached a payment restructuring agreement with Newcastle United to defer approximately 22 million euros in payments originally due in June 2026 to 2027.

It is worth noting that this restructuring only extends the payment deadline; it does not reduce the principal or lower total liability. The total outstanding debt of 68.9 million euros remains unchanged. This operation merely alleviates the club's short-term financial pressure and improves cash flow management. The entire debt will be recorded in subsequent fiscal year accounts.

Based on the June 30 total debt of 167.4 million euros, minus the 84.1 million euros for the five fully settled transfers, the remaining recorded debt is approximately 83.3 million euros.

Important clarification: 83.3 million euros does not represent Barcelona's total current transfer debt.

The primary reason is that the financial report's cutoff date is June 30, 2026, and all transfer deals completed in July, August, and September are excluded from this analysis. Unpaid transfer fees from new signings made this summer constitute additional debt not reflected in the aforementioned 83.3 million euros.

Additionally, a player's total transfer price does not equal the club's remaining payable debt. Payment structures vary by transfer; some are paid in full, others in installments, and some include performance-based or results-based clauses. To determine Barcelona's complete current transfer liabilities, the amount already paid and the outstanding balance for each new signing must be verified individually.
