Juventus has informed Manchester United that Kalulu is not for sale, according to Manchester Evening News. The French defender, valued at around £42 million, has been on Man Utd's radar.

Over the past two transfer windows, Man Utd has invested over £150 million in attacking and midfield positions. They strengthened their attack by signing Cunha, Mbembo and Sesko in the summer of 2025.
Under Carrick's management, Man Utd has also invested heavily in midfield, with Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Baleba joining from Aston Villa, Chelsea and Brighton respectively. Defence is considered the next priority, which is why Kalulu has been linked with Man Utd.
However, reports from Italy suggest that Juventus has no intention of letting Kalulu leave. Juventus signed him from rivals AC Milan for just over £12 million following a loan spell in the previous season.
Juventus is believed to view Kalulu as too important to sell. Man Utd has made contact with the centre-back, considering a move in January, but Juventus wants to offer him a new contract.
Kalulu has also been linked with Liverpool, who signed his French teammate Jacquet in the summer.
Although Kalulu's primary position is centre-back, he has played in various roles for Juventus. Under Spalletti, he was even encouraged to push forward and contribute to attacks from centre-back or right-back.
Liverpool did not sign any defenders in the summer transfer window. They were closely linked with Newcastle United's left-back Lewis Hall, but Newcastle United refused to sell.
Liverpool's hopes of signing him were further diminished when Lewis Hall signed a new contract, keeping him at St. James' Park until 2031.
Man Utd took a gamble by not signing a left-back, despite having only Luke Shaw and Dogu available. With Dogu being used more frequently as a left wing-back by Carrick in the previous season, it is believed Man Utd lacks depth in that position.
The lack of defensive reinforcements has concerned former Man Utd captain Gary Neville. Before the transfer window closed, Neville said: "They have some good individual defenders, but that is not a complete back four. Once the defence comes under pressure and there are a few injuries during the season, there will be problems.
"Michael knows that now. If they could sign another centre-back and a full-back before the transfer window closes, that would help avoid those known issues."
