Asante Kotoko SC has announced the return of forward Albert Amoah on loan from Libyan side Ahly Benghazi. Amoah rejoins the Porcupines after a three-month spell with the Libyan team, during which he did not make any appearances.

The 24-year-old initially signed for Ahly Benghazi in October following their 5-1 defeat to Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final round eliminator. Amoah was not registered in time for Kotoko’s next match against GoldStars on January 17 in Bibiani, meaning he will miss that encounter but will be available for subsequent games.
His return adds depth to Kotoko’s attacking options as they aim to maintain momentum in the league, and the forward is expected to play a key role in upcoming fixtures.
Kotoko fans will be eager to see Amoah back in action, as his pace, movement, and goal-scoring instincts could provide a much-needed boost to the team’s frontline. The club believes his experience abroad, even without game time, will help him slot back into the squad seamlessly and make an immediate impact in the Ghana Premier League.
