According to L'Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain has raked in 156 million euros from player sales this summer, and new signings are about to accelerate.

Paris Saint-Germain's transfer strategy this summer has been unprecedented. Instead, the Parisians have been making space in their squad while filling their coffers. Randal Kolo Muani's permanent transfer to Juventus is imminent. Since Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) took over in 2011, Paris Saint-Germain's transfer balance has never been this substantial. However, while total transfer income will not decrease, total expenditure may rapidly increase. Two years later, this summer, Paris Saint-Germain will easily break this record. This summer window confirms a trend: Paris Saint-Germain is gradually transforming into a club more inclined to sell players, no longer blindly indulging in a spending frenzy. Between 2011 and 2022, Paris Saint-Germain's total transfer income only surpassed the 100 million euro mark in two seasons.

However, this summer's transfer balance is expected to quickly rebalance. Affected by the World Cup and the failed transfer of Yann Diomande, Paris Saint-Germain's summer transfer window started slowly, but now the capital club is about to accelerate its signing process. Negotiations for target players such as Maghnes Akliouche, Mika Godts, and Suzuki (or Ferran Torres) are at a critical stage, and some are even close to being finalized.
